absolutely love this community of creatives that have come out of blogging and the industry in general, and I love finding and supporting new and young entrepreneurs with budding businesses. Todays post is a particularly exciting one for me because it's a new type of blogger business and that is illustrations!

I absolutely love little illustrations. I love that a person can put so much of their personality into a drawing, and I love how every single illustrator defines and sees something differently. You could sit one person in a room of ten illustrators and every single picture of that person they came up with would be unique and different. I absolutely adore that. Plus, there is nothing sweeter and more personal I swear than a blog with some cute illustrations on it - so adorable. I'm going to be popping these in my sidebar asap! (Probably after I finish this post actually...!)

So i've featured two beautiful illustrators today, both whom surprised me with a beautiful portrait of me. I decided to pop it in a blog post because I absolutely adored them both! Carlys is at the top and it's an amazing idea - it's me as a lipgloss! So cool!! I love the detail, with the t shirt and my eyeliner and blush being absolutely spot on. Hayley has a different style of illustrating, and I think what I love so much is how she's captured my likeness/personality. Don't you think it looks like me? I was astounded! I also loved the hair - the gradient looks so cool!

So both Carly and Hayley sell illustrations to bloggers for just £20 each which is unreal in terms of price. You're getting an original piece of art, created just for you, for £20. Like, to buy a piece of art on a canvas you're looking at well over £500 these days, so not only to get a personalized piece but a completely original piece for £20 is incredible. I also think it's great to support creatives, as one myself I know it's a struggling industry, people want things for free and when it's your living you simply cannot do that all the time!
